We Are Looking For Several (Senior) Software Developers

As part of the software development team in one of our 12 cross functional scrum teams you, together with your other colleagues in the team will be working on the new framework JewelEarth as well as the subsurface modeling software, JewelSuite. See also www.jewelsuite.com at http://www.jewelsuite.com/ . As a developer you will take part in all aspects of the SDLC: we love generalists and T-shaped developers. You will be working with the team, Product Owner and Subject Matter Experts. This role asks for creative thinking, staying abreast on technology and have a passion for different types of programming languages.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • You have at least a Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or natural sciences / engineering with significant experience in software development

  • You have thorough knowledge of software architecture, object oriented design, unit testing and parallel programming patterns

  • You have experience in technical or scientific software engineering

  • You have knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Visual Studio, C#, C and a source code control system like TFS and / or Git

  • You have experience with current development practices (SOLID, TDD, BDD etc)

  • Experience with MVVM/WPF/XAML is a plus.

  • Experience with Domain Driven Design principles is a plus.

  • You having a MSc / PhD in a related subject is a big plus

  • You having a MCSD Certification is a big plus

  • You having experience in the Oil and Gas industry is a big plus

  • You are quality focused
