Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Customer Service Representative-2 nd Shift to support Artificial Lift Services in the Midland, TX facility.
Under general supervision will process work orders, shipping & receiving and labeling material.
Track and maintain acceptable levels of work orders for new equipment and testing used equipment.
Communicate with hot shot drivers to schedule trucks to ship equipment to job site.
Assist other departments in acquiring inventory to fill shortages and daily orders from other locations.
Systematically shipping and receiving equipment as it is shipped out or returned from the job site.
Conducts all business activities in accordance with company HSE policies, legal compliance requirements and core values
Handles special projects as assigned and may be required to work unsupervised
Adjusting work order for special modifications to equipment.
High School Diploma or GED
Working knowledge of customer service techniques in an industrial setting
Requires the understanding and aptitude to work with computer inventory programs and Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organization and time management skills a must
Good interpersonal skills for interacting and coordinating work within the departments and the company
Must be customer focused
Highly organized and can multitask
Must be able to work 2 nd shift (Monday – Friday, 4pm – 12am)
1 years’ experience in customer service within the oil and gas industry.
Experience with Outlook for email communication and scheduling
Knowledge of MS Excel and SAP would be an asset
Production control experience (work orders/sales orders and deliveries/returns)
