Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for Sales Manager (Drill Bits) in Calgary, Alberta. In this role, you will:
Develop and implement sales strategies for Canadian area accounts in collaboration with Canadian Drill Bits operations management
Drive the development of short and long range sales goals in concert with Canadian operations management
Lead, develop and manage a select team of sales professionals dedicated to Canadian business growth and retention in Drill Bits
Ensure compliance with Sales and Service Standards at a key customer accounts
Engage and communicate with field personnel at customer facilities and sites
Identify and close new sales growth opportunities
Support retention of key assigned key accounts, with your team and in conjunction with operations management
Build and develop an effective team professionals and assure proper coordination of their activities with Canadian Drill Bits operations management
Interface across the internal organization both inside Canada and globally within Drill Bits to assure consist practices and adherence to commercial agreements with customers who may span multiple geographies
Build strong relationships with key customers through value-selling and entertainment
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
8 years of Drill Bits experience
Familiarity with various production methodologies within Drill Bits
Strong knowledge of the Drill Bits market, including customer value drivers and competitive positioning
Excellent communication skills
Excellent negotiating skills
Expertise in sales and marketing
Strong at building customer relationships at all levels of customer organization
Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering or Sciences field
5 years of people management / development experience
Strong Microsoft Office skills
