At Baker Hughes a GE company, the Materials Planning & Execution Specialist – New Product Introduction (NPI) is responsible for implementing spare part plans for New Developed Tools. He/She coordinates NPI spare part plans between engineering technologies, product line management, the geo markets, supply chain and global materials management for our Drilling Services product line.
Development and implementation of spare part plans/inventory level for spare parts for new developed tools
Development of inventory strategies in close cooperation with engineering and supply chain (e.g. strategic planning, strategic stock level, safety stocks)
Lead planning meetings with engineering, the geo markets and product line management
Preparation of entry/exit strategies based on detailed global analysis in cooperation with product line and supply chain
Control of inventory strategies and consumption pattern as expected
Hand-over of planning into standard processes after given point of time
Maintenance of all signal in case of technical changes/changed requirements
Participation of gate meetings and …
Perform ad-hoc analysis and additional required tasks as assigned
Support engineering during design phase to have best material/design layout
Control inventory level and turns
Bachelor Degree and/or about 5 years’ experience within Supply Chain or AMO
Very strong communication and personal skills
Technical knowledge and engineering understanding towards Drilling Services
Advanced SAP skills
Strong analytical skills
Materials Planning knowledge (incl. MRP)
Ability to build strong relationships
Ability to lead thru influence
Highly motivated dedicated personality
Project Management Skills/Green Belt Certification
