Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for an Electronic Assembler supporting Completions and Wellbore Intervention at our Hollister and Emmott facility in Houston, TX. This Electronic Assembler will be soldering a great deal with high temperature solder. You will also have to look up drawings and/or procedures using SAP and pull them from our internal database, so computer knowledge is necessary. Also, Quality is extremely important and any previous IPC-610 training is a plus.
Performs component assembly of circuit boards, wiring harnesses, connectors, chassis wiring assemblies and mechanical assemblies.
Mounts and solders components, wiring harnesses, connectors and mechanical assemblies.
Perform in-process inspections
High School Diploma or GED.
2 years soldering and electronic assembly experience.
Ability to perform high and low level temperature and HMP soldering.
Familiarity with tools.
Ability to identify and read values of common electronic components.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and electronic schematics.
Advanced soldering and wire crimping skills.
Ability to fabricate, run and terminate wire cable harnesses.
General PC experience
Work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm.
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Quality is extremely important and any previous IPC-610 training is a plus
