Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Product Line Director to support Wellbore Construction at our Center of Technology Innovation (CTI) in Houston, TX. BHGE is looking for a candidate to lead its Global Wellbore Construction segment of Completions & Well Interventions Product Line. The position provides the candidate the unique opportunity to interact with Best in Class Liner Hanger Systems, Multi Laterals solutions and Annular Isolation Products.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Establishes vision, strategy and execution plans to support and grow the Wellbore Construction business

  • Leads and oversees Liner Hangers, Multi Laterals and Annular Isolation product line teams that support global operations

  • Accountable for overall Wellbore Construction Product Line revenue and profitability.

  • Works with engineering, supply change and operations to develop and commercialize products to maintain and grow the business

  • Establishes a deep understanding of business and market drivers to identify keys areas for business and technology investments

  • Works with other product lines and business units to establish unique market solutions.

  • Manages product life cycle and product cost competitiveness

  • Handles special projects, as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • Minimum of 15 years of Oilfield Services Industry experience and 8 years of Completions & Well Intervention business

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to create a highly motivated team

  • Must have a deep technical and business understanding of Liner Hanger Systems.

  • Demonstrates strong financial acumen and the ability to manage a Profit and Loss (P&L)

  • Manage ambiguity and navigates through complex problems with the ability to see the big picture yet understand the details required to arrive at a solution

  • Experienced working with SAP

  • Results oriented and drives accountability while empowering the team

  • Ability to write technical / markets information along with strong presentation / communication skills

  • Active participation in industry groups such as API, ISO, etc.

  • Experience in new product development and commercialization

Desired Characteristics:

  • Has a deep technical and business understanding of Multi Lateral Systems and Annular Isolation products.

  • Previous International experience

  • Previous experience managing P&L
