The Downstream Chemical product line provides services and technology for the worldwide pipeline, hydrocarbon processing, and petrochemical industries to help increase our customer’s production, improve plant safety, and equipment reliability. We are currently hiring for multiple locations across the United States.
Develops and drives profitable sales growth and manages P&L in the area of responsibility
Energetic, self-driven, outgoing and ambitious personality
Work safely within customer and Baker Hughes, a GE company guidelines
Ability to quickly develop technical knowledge of appropriate company products and services
Assist in coordinating projects of varying complexity
Help provide expertise, troubleshooting and assistance for customer concerns
Provide support in identifying and closing new sales opportunities
Assist in business reviews, presentations and attend customer meetings on a regular basis
Manage chemical inventories and assist with deliveries
Build strong relationships with key customers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to entertain customers outside working hours 2 times per month at company’s expense
Trains, coaches & develops account representatives
Attract and develop top talent to ensure sales objectives are achieved
Manages technical and non-technical training to sales team
Deliver timely and accurate forecasting for established territory
Maintains existing customer base by providing world-class customer service through the implementation of best practices
Develop collaborative business relationships with existing customers and potential business partners
Implements effective marketing plans to develop new business and acquire new customers
Implements effective marketing plans to penetrate new markets
3 years of experience in Downstream Chemicals
Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
Thorough understanding of the entire sales process and ability to close business
Ability to build strong customer relationships
Demonstrates professional business acumen
Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP and PowerPoint)
B.S Degree in Engineering or Sciences field
People management / development experience
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Excellent financial management skills and / or P&L management experience
Multiple locations within the US
