Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Senior Materials Management Staff Manager (Supply Chain) to be based in Houston, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and expeditethe flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according toproduction schedules.

  • Plan and schedulematerial/production needs.

  • Manage master planning,material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedulesand purchasing needs

  • Ensure operational alignmentwith production plan and KPIs

  • Optimize inventory and processimprovements

  • Apply existing technologies,approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products,systems or processes

  • Viewed internally and externallyas a specialist in the discipline

  • Present projects plans,technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders(EB and SEB) within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders inpartner technical teams

  • Communicate solutions acrossthe own function and with cross-functional partner organizations

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from anaccredited university or college

  • 5 years of experience inMaterials Planning and Execution

  • Comprehensive knowledge of underlyingprinciples, approaches and methodology.
