Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Quality Manager (Artificial Lift) to be based in Midland, TX.
Under broad direction develops, coordinates and conducts supervision of Quality personnel via personnel assignments, job or project management, administration and technical support.
Responsible for single product line or country, or manufacturing / AMO units.
Conduct quality planning and setting of quality objectives.
Will be responsible for providing a budgetary plan to Director of Quality.
Monitors monthly progress of Quality key performance metrics and Project Management.
Ensures competent technical workforce to conduct business.
Under broad direction will implement strategies to drive quality and reliability initiatives throughout Baker Hughes.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
Leads the workforce in continuous improvement activities, both systems and processes, and benchmarks appropriate standards of conduct throughout the operation.
Responsible for development of employees.
Conducts all business activities in accordance to BHGE HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BHGE Core Values.
Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree
5 years’ quality management experience
3 year of experience in a Field or Manufacturing environment
3 of managing a staff
Lean manufacturing training and understanding
Experience managing and directing the work of others
Supply chain knowledge and work experience.
Experience with six-sigma or other similar experience.
Safety knowledge and focus.
