Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Sr. Account Manager (Wireline Services) to be based in Midland, TX

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Works closely within team to secure accurate quotation of services to client companies

  • Sells products and services to existing and new customers

  • Develops and maintains sales strategies to increase sales and profits through major accounts. Builds strong customer relationships

  • Engages in revenue planning, sales strategies, evaluating TAM, and growing share

  • Ensures product line sales focus and support for geographical area

  • Protects product line integrity

  • Interface to operations, marketing and product line resources

  • Provides key applications/re-design support

  • Engages with Commercial on bids and tenders

  • Responsible for making presentations to customers and sales personnel

  • Handles special projects, as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education

  • 3 years of Wireline product line experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong at building personal relationships with internal and external customers

  • Proficient in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Looking for a positive self-motivated and driven individual

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of company's products and services for area of responsibility and general knowledge of products and services of other business segments

  • Sales and Account Management experience preferred

  • Demonstrated understanding of sales process, ability to build strong relationships and close business

  • Fundamental knowledge of commercial and contract language

  • Expertise in negotiating

  • Project Management experience

  • Ability to coach others

  • Ability to travel at least 30%
