Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a rotational Field Specialist II – ALS in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Under minimal supervision the employee will perform the installation and pulling of complex Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems and associated equipment in offshore and onshore oil and water wells
Install & Pull ESP Systems
Assists with Monitoring, trouble shooting, and testing down-hole ESP equipment
Handles special projects as assigned
2 years of ESP experience
Two Year Technical Degree or Four Year Degree. Can be substituted with industry and/or electrical experience
Rotational position, willing to travel and handle rotational hours and lifestyle
Electrical experience a plus
Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office
General oilfield knowledge
Customer focused and good communicator
Military experience a plus
- Candidate must pass a fit for duty evaluation. Frequent travel is required; position is rotational 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off. Rotational schedule can be irregular during times of high activity, often on short notice.
